Young Kings and Queens is dedicated to the empowerment and inspiration of minority youth to live beyond the scopes of societal norms.

WHO WE ARE

We believe actions speak louder than words and our youth require action. Be the person in a youth’s life that appreciates their voice and supports them using it.

WHAT WE DO

We offer a variety of life skills development options, equitable education experiences and continuous supportive services to the youth of Kalamazoo to help empower them to do great things. We offer programs such as hair clinics, cooking classes, college tours, boxing for sport and fitness and much more.

HOW WE HELP

Young Kings and Queens, Inc. empowers youth, ages 13-19, by providing them with space and experiences that helps them to hone in on their talents, define their aspirations and acquire new skills to create change in their own lives and in their communities.

R.O.Y.A.L Summer Program

Our summer time program offers youth, ages 13-19, a chance to learn more about themselves and provides them with tools to prepare for what they want from life.

Masquerade Ball

Masquerade Ball

In an effort to recognize our youth and our key supporters for all of their hard work, determination, contributions, and diligence throughout the year, we have an annual Masquerade Ball, a crowning ceremony and volunteer appreciation event.

Blessings of Hope for The Holidays

Blessings of Hope

This holiday event allows the youth to go into the  community and provide blessing totes, filled with food and other items, to support families in need and candy sleds to youth during the holiday season. Each year we strive to increase the amount we give to the community.
