In an effort to connect the youth with the community, we hold an annual “Back to School Jam” event this summer. Last year we were able to feed 200 members of the community and provide fully loaded backpacks and hygiene packs to 100 middle school and high school youth in the community. Our youth were filled with a sense of pride when they were able to help members of the community by providing them with the essential tools they will need to succeed throughout the school year.
